How can we help the Bengal tigers?

As humans our principle responsibility is to not hunt these wild animals. We also have the responsibility to protect and not destroy their environment. It is due to our selfish reasons that these animals are loosing their homes which is causing them to become extinct. While looking for this research I found no pictures of a tiger attacking humans or human properties. Most of the pictures included a dead tiger and a human. What does that say about us as humans?
